  • Change in the incorporated documents in MS Excel format;

Documents in Crystal Reports Format

A significant part of the documents, which the program prints, are generated through Crystal Reports and are separated in files. This way, each user can modify a document according to his needs and requirements. In order to change such documents, it is enough for the specific file to be open and the necessary edits to be made. The files with the documents are stored in the Documents Folder corresponding to the installation of Microinvest Warehouse Pro. More detailed information about the technology and structure of the files can be found on the official website of Microinvest in the Documentation/Partners’ Info section.

Documents in Excel Format

A small number of documents are created as active Excel files. Excel documents represent separate files, which can be modified by the users and to and to be adapted according to individual preferences. The files with Excel documents are stored in the Templates folder of the installation of Microinvest Warehouse Pro. Once again, more detailed information about the technology and structure of the files can be found on the official website of Microinvest in the Documentation/Partners’ Info section.

Adding of Documents

Microinvest Warehouse Pro allows for adding of additional Excel and Crystal Reports documents, which had not been part of the standard installation of the program. In order for this action to be performed, the following sequence must be completed:

  • Creating the necessary document as a separate file;
  • Copying the file in the respective folder of the program. Explanation about the location of the folders can be found in the above-mentioned information;
  • Opening of the Edit/Administration/Print Manager and associating the new document with a given operation.

Custom Excel Reports

Custom reports represent a specific part of Excel documents. In its essence, they do not differ from the documents in Excel format, but are oriented to the processing of results and usually contain tables with data. Excel reports are a powerful tool for generating custom reports according to templates, as additional processing of data can be contained. The files are stored in the Templates folder of the installation of the product. After placing a new report in this folder, during the next launch of the program it leaves the new reports in the Reports Manager and they become part of the standard functions of the product. The documentation of these reports is analogous to the documentation of the Excel documents.

Custom Reports

A separate part of the reports in the program are the so called “Custom Documents”(custom reports). These are separate XML files, which contain direct SQL orders to the database and display results in tables. The main application of these files is the creation of reports and even of Crystal Reports documents, as everything can be generated according to a custom request of a given client. The custom reports appear in the Reports Manager and become an indispensable part of the functionalities of the product. More detailed information about their functioning and interaction with the program can be found on the official website of Microinvest in the Documentation/Partners’ Info section. Usually, these reports are spread in MUR format (Microinvest User Reports).
