Printed documents, in particular the issued products cheque, are the face of the company in front of the customers and tax offices. That's why Microinvest Warehouse Pro and Microinvest Warehouse Pro Light include a highly developed technology for managing documents. The study and implementation of mandatory statutory requirements is controlled by the state authorities and must be managed properly.

Types of cheques

There are two main types of commercial documents available to the client:

  • Fiscal cheque printed by a fiscal memory device;
  • A free-form cheque conforming to good economic practices.

[en.microinvest.net Microinvest]'s products allow the usage of both types of cheques, leaving the option of selecting the document type to the users. It is also important to note the need to ensure proper collateral for issuing the relevant document. An example is the presence of a fiscal printer that provides fiscal checks and contains the appropriate certified components for storing financial transactions.

Types of printers

Depending on the type and purpose, printers are divided into:

  • Fiscal printers. These devices are certified in the respective country and can issue valid fiscal cheques. They have built-in memory and keep the issued documents. Typically, they can also print non-fiscal cheques with arbitrary content, such as bar or kitchen orders;
  • Standard printers. In standard printers, there are no memory modules installed, and they print any document type and content. Generally, they are universal and can be managed through a scripting system.

In most cases, there is a fiscal and kitchen printer at the same time in the same system. This allows to separate orders and fiscal documents, to distribute internal documents, and even print reports on the printer. Standard printers are often referred to as POS printers or Kitchen printers. In all cases, these are the same type of devices without built-in fiscal memory.
